Hello, welcome to the site! I wish my workspace was half as well organized as yours!

Hi Jim,

Don't speak too soon. I didn't post the other half. (book case full of books a big PC table clouded with note books, stuff, a pillow for my cat and a cat toy box. Nothing like working at home. If I ever get super rich. That wont change I hope. Thanks for the welcom. I'm around,  Shannon.

PS : I'm no longer so crippled. But I found the big wheels of my old chairs work great for rolling in and out. I use to roll out to grab a book or two then roll back in again.

Glad to know you don't need it anymore! That's pretty creative to keep using it anyway, I'm sure a lot of people would have irrationally destroyed or disposed of mobility equipment out of anger at their past circumstances.

Someday when I set up a shop, I'm going to get an old industrial robot arm and weld a chair to it with a remote control joystick. I could keep my components and stuff way high overhead and would never have to get a stepladder to reach any of it!

Ya, high up is the worst. I hate to throw stuf out too. You never know when its just what you need. I've tried many desk chairs. I'm on carpet. I keep going back to the big wheels. You never know with that too.  Me;e
