Comment by Steven Manzer on February 10, 2013 at 1:55pm The raspberry pi and similar uC like the beagle bone will revolutionize the hobby micro control world. I was designing a home automation system based on a PIC I had five hundred dollars and a thousand hours tied up in it. I replaced it with a Pi and two weeks of programming. It is almost done and way better than before.
Anyone want to buy some experienced PIC's? LOL
Comment by Ethan on February 11, 2013 at 6:02pm Hey guys I was thinking about codes for games on the raspberry pi. Like basic codes so I can create my own games. Can you guys help?
Thanks,
Ethan
Comment by Steven Manzer on February 11, 2013 at 7:47pm Hi Ethan,
Not sure what exactly you are asking. I am more interested in controls, but gaming is fun. If it is your first attempt, I would use google to find a premade example, and then modify it. Once you get the hang of it, you can reuse some of the code to make your own game.
I believe python is used mostly on the Pi for programming. Try googling "python rasberry pi game" or similar.
Good luck!
Steven
