I have been trying to get an LCD to work via I2C.  When I try to verify the sketch (from various sources on the net) I keep getting an error about a conflict with Print.h.  The error occurs when I try to to the LCD write.

Could someone tell me if they have had the same problem (and how solved), if there is a better library out there (give source, please), or part of a sketch that works?

Thanks

Hi Lou Lberatone, I think you probably are using the libraries LiquidCrystal_I2C.h and Wire.h am I right?
To provide further information we must see your code, but may try to check if it´s not a simple problem as a wrong address or a problem as I found in arduino page “the pins between the i2c and the LCD were wired different to the libraries expect.”

You can try to close and restart your arduino IDE software right after you’ve added the library -LiquidCrystal_i2c- software and before trying to compile your sketch?

And remember that you have to include the two libraries mentioned above to your sketch :

#include <Wire.h>
#include <LiquidCrystal_I2C.h>

Take a look at the LCD i2c shield, it might be a good solution for you
