Do you keep your ideas to yourself so someone doesn't market your idea? Or, do you talk about it to get the information out there and look for people to give you ideas for improvement? Where is the line? Where do you draw the line? I used to be tight on keeping my info to myself now I've loosened up. What do we think?

I think I'd keep my goods to my self for sure. You could ask some things if it doesn't give away your works. As far as finding a partner, I wouldn't rush into it. There are conferral agreements but I don't trust them. Yep, Its lonely but if you don't give up you will fine your answers. Crap, I found mine after I gave up and found it couldn't be done. I needed to start from scratch. At some time you will need help but let it be you that needs the help and not them. If you can ask about a problem and not give away your gold it might be cool. If your lucky-no-one has the answer anyways. Thats for you to fine. All I know is that you can't give up and looking at things differently may-be the only answer if there is one. But then I'm not a trusting person. I really need to know some one very, very well. Me ? I think I've found my pot of gold. In fact two pots. I don't really need yours. Mine is pretty big.

Sorry to say this but I really doubt you have anything worth stealing.

Unless you really have a disruptive product there isn't much someone else can't do on their own

Ideas are so cheap, I have 1000s, want a couple??

Implementation is the hard part. how you make the dang thing work is what you keep close. that ends up being the firmware in this day and age.

No, I don't have any developed ideas worth stealing. I was more so asking as a philosophical question. But you are right in that if you are trying to make money there is a difference between an idea and the manufacture and marketing.

But do give me at least 1 of your 1000 ideas cause i LOVE ideas. whooooo!

Unless I feel like it's an important idea, I usually can't shut up. I like to gather info and ideas. Helps think outside the box sometimes.

  Yes,

I think we need to have at least two groups of idears. Those that we should-not talk about and need no help with. And those that we can talk about and do need some imput on. I'm such a controll freak so not to get beat out. I even think its best to hold off on a Gov. pattern till a Mfd. line is ready to go.

I love idears all-so, I hope I get very rich so all I do is the idear part and at home. Just this morning I had an idear for a 12' 10lp boat that brakes down. No not that plastic one you see. This one can be filled with old soda bottles. As I was throwing out yet a nother bottle, I was thinking... There must be some kind of use for these things. I wonder if I could build a boat with them ? Now, bet your sorry you asked...
