Serious claims against BeagleBone's manufacturer CircuitCo

Dear Members,

We would like to inform you that, unfortunately, the manufacturer of BeagleBone boards, CircuitCo, is not respecting the customers, distributors or the market. Several weeks after paying for the boards we, GarageLab LLC, are still struggling to receive the boards we paid for. They delivered just half of the order.

The company in the beginning was promising a solution, then started the excuses, and now is just ignoring our e-mails and calls, what forced us to let the market know, so other people and companies can avoid the same situation we are now.

The next step is, of course, use the U.S. justice to be refunded.

Due to this situation we recommend to all our customers to use Raspberry Pi or similar boards instead, since your project or product will not suffer from availability or ethical problems.

All the best,

Marcelo Rodrigues

Hello guys,

New facts to the CircuitCo case. But until now, the didn't refund us or send the boards.

We decided to publish the e-mails, to prove how bad they are dealing with the market:

On December 8th:

Hello Marcelo,

I apologize I have been tied up in meetings all day.  I did not get a call back number for you.

We ask that you please take the post down.  There are more parties involved with these projects than Circuitco alone, and this is affecting more parties than just us.

Rod is no longer with Circuitco Electronics, and this is partially why.  It was our understanding that he shipped all of the boards until we did our internal investigation to confirm that you are short 200 boards.

Proposal: We ship you 225 boards by Friday 12/18 or Monday 12/21, or we can give you a refund by Friday 12/18,

We ask that you please work with us to take this post down.  We have a lot of interesting projects releasing soon that you might be interested in, and I hope we can continue to do business together correctly.

My cell phone is XXXXXXXXXX.  You can call me anytime to discuss is necessary.

Thank you,

We chose the refund. But until now, nothing!

So, we are very sad to alert the market: "DO NOT BUY A BEAGLEBONE OR BEAGLEBOARD! Your project and money is at risk.

Believe or not, nothing yet!

CircuitCo didn't delivered the boards and they refused to refund us. Shame!!!

Our lawyer sent them 2 demand letters already. Only the Texas court will solve this, now???

Use Raspberry Pi instead! Do not trust on Beagle boards!
